I am a devoted wearer of organic clothing. I love how organic clothing from many manufacturers match in color and softness so that I can wear clothing from any manufacturer and have my wardrobe be completely made of organic fabric.
Here is a picture of me with my Prana shirt and my stylish yet worn Blue Canoe pants and socks from Maggies Organics. My underwear and bra come from Blue Canoe that day.

One thing I would like to do with this blog is to describe some products we have found that we like to use.
This summer I spent some time searching for the best lunch bags made with eco-friendly resources. I really liked the look of the ones from Mimi the Sardine and I purchased two in July. I find these very useful for several reasons: the handle is large and effective, the bag is made from organic cotton, the size can hold a lot of items, and they are machine washable!
The picture below shows the bags completely full for school lunches today.

This picture shows the contents of the lunches. Just to note: the plastic red spoon is from Recycline that we reuse constantly. The napkin is made out of hemp that a friend passed along to us.

I feel exuberant to be using these beautiful bags!

I have always loved our logo. I just uploaded a version of it to this blog. Jeremy Carlson, Graphic Designer, created our identity package for us. I highly recommend him.

Sparrow’s Tail was once an online clothing store selling organic clothing for all ages. We opened for business in December 2007. Our online store was open by March 2008. We closed our store in February 2009 with a huge sale for customers.
We sold clothing from Blue Canoe, Ecolution, Ohgeez Organic Clothing, Happy Green Bee, and Clean Undies. We attended events around the Seattle area with a tent and a booth selling our clothing to the public.
We enjoyed selling our clothing, especially during the Seattle summer events. We closed our store only because of financial difficulties with maintaining the store during the economic downturn.
We hope to keep our followers up-to-date with the latest trends in organic clothing, and maybe even organic living, by posting to this blog. We have some ideas to post, we just need to find the time to post them.
